1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms have the meanings given below:

  • "Proseva" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" — the educational community operating under the name Proseva, based at Level 16, Menara Etiqa, No. 3 Jalan Bangsar Utama 1, 59000 Kuala Lumpur.
  • "Programme" / "Service" — any workshop, course or programme offered by Proseva, including but not limited to the Women & Money Community Workshop, the Money Confidence Course and the Complete Money Empowerment Programme.
  • "Participant" / "You" — any individual who registers for or attends a Proseva programme or who uses the Proseva website.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions as accepted by you upon registering for a programme or using our website.
  • "Content" — all materials, workbooks, digital tools, session notes and other resources produced by Proseva and provided to participants.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for a Proseva programme, submitting an enquiry form or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not register for a programme or submit your details.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Programmes are designed for adults and are not suitable for individuals under 18.

3. Programme Description and Scope

Proseva provides community-based financial education workshops and courses for women. All programmes are general educational experiences and do not constitute regulated financial advice, investment advice, legal advice or any other form of professional advisory service under Malaysian law.

Facilitators are adult educators. They are not licensed financial advisers. Nothing communicated in a Proseva programme should be treated as a personal recommendation regarding any financial product, investment or financial decision. Participants are encouraged to seek advice from licensed professionals for their specific circumstances.

Programme content, schedules and facilitators may be adjusted by Proseva as needed. Reasonable advance notice will be given where changes significantly affect registered participants.

4. Registration and Enrolment

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of your completed registration details and full programme fee. Places in each cohort are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Submission of registration details does not guarantee a place until confirmed in writing by Proseva.

Proseva reserves the right to decline registration without providing a reason, in which case any fee paid will be returned in full.

5. Fees and Payment

Programme fees are as published on the Proseva website at the time of registration. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Fees include all materials stated in the programme description.

Payment is due at the time of registration unless an instalment arrangement has been agreed in writing with Proseva. Proseva reserves the right to release a reserved place if payment is not received by the agreed date.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances change. The following applies to participant-initiated cancellations:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the programme start date: full refund, less any applicable bank transfer fees
  • Cancellation 7–14 days before the start date: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the start date: no refund, but you may transfer your place to another participant subject to Proseva approval

If Proseva cancels a programme, all registered participants will receive a full refund of fees paid. Proseva is not liable for any additional costs incurred by participants as a result of a cancellation.

7. Participant Responsibilities

By participating in a Proseva programme, you agree to:

  • Treat all other participants and facilitators with respect
  • Honour the group confidentiality agreement signed at the start of each programme
  • Not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent from Proseva and all participants
  • Not share, reproduce or distribute Proseva Content without written permission
  • Engage with sessions in good faith and refrain from conduct that disrupts the group experience

Proseva reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful, without entitlement to a refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All Proseva Content — including workbooks, templates, session materials and digital tools — is the intellectual property of Proseva. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for your own learning purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt or sell any Proseva Content without prior written permission.

9. Confidentiality

Information shared by other participants during Proseva sessions is shared in confidence. You agree not to disclose the personal circumstances, financial details or any other private information shared by fellow participants outside of the group setting.

10. Disclaimers

Proseva is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or incidental losses of any kind.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Proseva harmless from any claims, damages or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms & Conditions or your use of Proseva services in a manner inconsistent with these terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be addressed through informal resolution by contacting Proseva at [email protected]. If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

14. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Proseva regarding participation in our programmes and supersede any prior communications on these matters.
  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
