Why Proseva

What makes the difference

Every session is shaped around the realities women face — not a generic curriculum but a community-built experience.

Community-first learning

Sessions are built around peer sharing, not just instruction. You learn alongside women facing similar questions, which makes everything feel more real and more useful.

Practical, everyday focus

No abstract theory. Every concept is tied to something you can apply the same week — whether that's reading a bank statement or setting up a simple monthly plan.

A safe space to ask anything

Money can feel like a topic surrounded by judgement. Proseva sessions are designed so you can raise real questions without worrying about looking uninformed.

Experienced facilitators

Our facilitators bring years of adult education and financial literacy experience. They know how to make complicated ideas accessible without talking down to anyone.

Rooted in Kuala Lumpur

Based in the heart of KL, Proseva understands the local cost of living, the Malaysian banking landscape and the particular pressures women here navigate day to day.

Tangible materials you keep

Workbooks, digital toolkits and reference sheets come with most programmes so the learning doesn't stay in the room — it travels home with you.

Common Questions

Questions people often ask us

Do I need any prior knowledge of finance to join?
Not at all. Our community workshop is designed specifically for women who are starting from scratch or who have never felt comfortable with money topics before. The five-week course and full programme also welcome complete beginners — the pace is set by the group.
How many people are in each session?
We keep groups small on purpose — typically between eight and sixteen participants. This means you get real time with the facilitator and genuine space to share and reflect, rather than sitting in a large auditorium.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions take place at our Kuala Lumpur centre at Level 16, Menara Etiqa, Jalan Bangsar Utama 1. The building is easy to reach by LRT (Abdullah Hukum station) and there is parking available in the building.
What do I take away from the workshop or course?
Depending on your programme, you'll receive printed workbooks, digital budget templates and reference guides. The Complete Programme also includes a digital toolkit and three months of follow-up group access so you can keep the conversation going.
Are sessions conducted in English?
Yes, all our programmes are facilitated in English. Facilitators are also comfortable switching into Bahasa Malaysia informally when that helps participants follow along more comfortably.
Is the content specific to Malaysian finances?
Yes. Examples, case studies and tools are grounded in Malaysian everyday life — local bank accounts, EPF contributions, ringgit-based budgeting scenarios and the kind of household costs people actually manage here.
What if I miss one session of the five-week course?
Life happens, and we understand that. If you miss a session, you'll receive the session notes and worksheet so you can catch up at your own pace before the next meeting. We also encourage peer-to-peer support within each cohort.
How is my personal information handled?
Anything you share in a session stays within the group. We collect only the contact details you provide when registering, and those are used only to communicate about your programme. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
